Matemáticas para dibujar caras

Sí señores. Las matemáticas, esa ciencia tan árida que apenas si tiene aplicaciones prácticas (modo ironic off), pueden tener una utilidad artística como hacedora (¿existe este palabro?) de caricaturas. Los chicos de Wolfram Alpha disponen de una galería de 138 personajes (y 142 imágenes) a los que han realizado caricaturas a través de las matemáticas, más concretamente, mediante ecuaciones paramétricas, en las que las variables dependientes son [;(x,y);] (las coordenadas planas tradicionales) que dependen de una tercera variable [;t;] que se va moviendo.
